1985 Mattel "My Child". It does not look like she is wearing her original clothes but the sunsuit fabric does look like it is from the same era as the "My Child" doll. She has coal black hair and brown eyes.
Mattel's My Child copyright 1985. Black hair and green eyes add to the beauty of this "My Child". The My Child doll was Mattel's answer to the Cabbage Patch Kids in 1985. This "Child" is wearing her original striped dress which is lavender and white and a white pinafore which is trimmed in lavender.
"My Child" marked 1986 Mattel on the back of her head. "My Child", unlike the earlier ones, has a vinyl head. Her body is made like the earlier dolls. When her back is pressed she tilts her head to lie her head on your shoulder. There is a hidden button in her back and a colored spot showing where to press. She is wearing her original clothes, has rooted short blonde hair and big blue eyes.
