Armand Marseille Dream Baby and Acme Toy Company Mama Doll. Both dolls are from the early 1920s. The Dream Baby has a cloth body.
Marked "AM Germany" this baby doll has a bisque head #341.14, "My Dream Baby", early 1920s. During this era some of the bisque heads were painted and others were tinted. The tinted heads usually are more valuable as well as the coloring being more durable than the painted heads. This baby appears to have a tinted head. The colors are more vivid when they are painted and more subtle when they have been tinted.
It appears that she is wearing her original clothes.
The bisque head has beautiful coloring and is in excellent condition.
A winter cape and hat trimmed in fur came with the doll. It is a winter fabric lined with a floral print. It is not known whether or not it is part of the original clothing that came with the doll but it is known that they have been with the doll since the original owner played with the doll.
